Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Integration Solution Architect with extensive experience in the design, development, deployment, and support of enterprise middleware and integration solutions. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise across API management and integration platforms, such as Boomi, MuleSoft, WSO2, and Azure Logic Apps. The Architect will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing integration strategies, architecture frameworks, and best practices to enable seamless connectivity across systems and applications. This role demands both technical leadership and hands-on involvement in designing and building scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions. In addition to leading cross-functional technical teams, the Architect will also collaborate with sales and alliance teams to contribute to pre-sales efforts, customer engagements, solution demonstrations, and proposal support. The individual will serve as a subject matter expert within the organization, guiding internal project teams on middleware best practices, API lifecycle management, and modernization initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert knowledge of technical and middleware architecture, serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to operations and application development teams on integration and middleware-related topics.
  • Review business drivers, needs, and strategies in collaboration with Business and Application Architects to understand their implications for the technical and middleware architecture.
  • Contribute to the development of project initiation documents, including the definition of objectives, scope, approach, and deliverables.
  • Identify and communicate risks (business, application, and technical) associated with middleware components or application implementations.
  • Prepare middleware solution architecture deliverables in alignment with enterprise standards, methodologies, and target business architectures.
  • Provide middleware consultation on complex projects, acting as a top-level contributor and specialist.
  • Identify and assess emerging trends and technologies, and lead the implementation of new tools and solutions where appropriate.
  • Develop Proofs of Concept (POCs), contribute to ongoing development efforts, and perform advanced code and configuration reviews to ensure adherence to design patterns and architectural standards.
  • Participate in and, when required, lead production troubleshooting and “war room” activities, ensuring quick resolution of critical issues.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and training to team members within and outside the immediate workgroup to enhance technical capability and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with and influence senior management on technical decisions that require coordination across multiple teams and organizations.
  • Offer technical consulting for complex, cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture goals.
  • Possess comprehensive technical knowledge across all phases of integration solution implementation.
  • Proactively identify problems, evaluate business impact, research best practice alternatives, prepare recommendations, and drive consensus among stakeholders to implement optimal solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and deliver effective solutions to a wide range of complex technical and integration challenges across platforms and systems.
