Role Overview: 

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Technical Solution Architect with a strong engineering background in the retail domain and hands-on experience in driving AI-led initiatives. The candidate will play a critical role in designing scalable, innovative solutions that enhance business outcomes across retail operations and transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities: 

Solution Architecture & Design

  • Design and develop end-to-end scalable solutions aligned with business and technology strategies
  • Translate business requirements into technical architecture and implementation plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solution feasibility, performance, and scalability

Retail Domain Expertise

*Drive solutioning across key retail processes such as:

  • Merchandising & inventory management
  • Order management & fulfillment
  • POS, eCommerce, and omnichannel integrations

Provide domain-driven insights to improve operational efficiency and customer experience

* AI & Innovation Initiatives

  • Identify and implement AI/ML use cases (e.g., demand forecasting, recommendation engines, chatbots, intelligent automation)
  • Work with data science and engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into enterprise platforms
  • Drive adoption of GenAI, predictive analytics, and automation frameworks

Engineering & Delivery

Provide strong technical leadership with hands-on involvement in:

  • Cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
  • APIs, microservices, and integration frameworks
  • DevOps and CI/CD practices
  • Good knowlege in RPA Process

Ensure adherence to architecture standards, security, and best practices

* Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams
  • Present architecture solutions and provide technical guidance to leadership
  • Support pre-sales, proposals, and solution estimations when required

Required Skills:

* Technical Skills

  • Strong engineering background with experience in:
  • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP – Azure preferred)
  • Microservices architecture & APIs
  • Data platforms & integration patterns

Experience with AI/ML frameworks, analytics tools, or automation platforms (e.g., Power Platform, Python, ML services)

  • Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices

* Domain Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Retail industry solutions
  • Understanding of omnichannel retail, supply chain, and store operations

* AI & Innovation

  • Proven experience in driving AI initiatives or POCs to production
  • Exposure to Generative AI, NLP, or predictive analytics use cases

* Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Proactive mindset with focus on innovation and continuous improvement

* Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

* Good to Have

  • Certifications in Cloud (Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Architect)
  • Experience with Power Automate / RPA / Intelligent Automation
  • Exposure to enterprise retail platforms (SAP, Dynamics, etc.)
