Role Overview:

Seeking Oracle Xstore POS professionals with 3–12 years of experience in implementation, customisation, and support of Xstore solutions using Java, SQL/PLSQL, and related technologies. The role involves configuring POS systems, handling integrations, troubleshooting issues, and supporting end-to-end Xstore deployments for retail clients.

Technical knowledge:

  • (Core Java ,J2EE, JDBC, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, PLSQL)
  • XStore - Customizations, Configurations, UI Changes, Locale Changes, Handling Data issues, POS Deployment, Issue Analysis and Fixing, Device Configurations, In/Out bound data mapping )
  • Design and configure Oracle Xstore POS applications based on client requirements.
  • Customize Xstore workflows, screens, and functionalities to align with client specifications.
  • Provide technical expertise and support during the implementation and integration of Xstore solutions.
  • Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the stability and reliability of the POS systems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation related to Xstore configurations and customizations.
  • Stay updated with the latest Xstore features, patches, and upgrades to provide proactive recommendations to clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Xstore with other enterprise systems.
  • Provide ongoing support and resolve technical issues related to Xstore applications for clients.
  • At least 2 Implementation and 2 Support projects for XStore (as mentioned below)
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience in onsite-offshore model
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a client-facing role, understanding and translating client requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in implementing and customizing Oracle Xstore Point of Sale solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Xstore architecture, configurations, and modules.
  • Proficiency in Java programming and familiarity with relevant technologies such as XML, SQL, and web services.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
