Role Overview: 

We are seeking a skilled technology professional. The role involves hands on experience in depth implementations in Temenos Transact Platform and exposure in Banking domain. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Minimum 8+ years of hands-on Temenos Transact experience
  • At least 5 end-to-end implementations
  • Experience in AMS or system stabilization projects
  • Experience in upgrade or transformation projects preferred 

System Governance & Oversight 

  • Act as Transact platform owner representative for the Bank
  • Review overall system architecture and configurations
  • Establish governance standards for: 
  • Product configurations
  • Local developments (L3)
  • Interfaces and integrations
  • Define coding and configuration standards aligned with Temenos best practices
  • Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance
  • Control change management and release governance 

Functional Responsibilities 

  • Review and validate: 
  • Account & Loan products
  • Payments configurations  
  • Perform gap assessments between business requirements and system capabilities
  • Validate accounting entries and GL mappings
  • Oversee parameterization and product lifecycle governance
  • Ensure correct interest, charges, limits, and collateral configurations 

Technical Responsibilities 

  • Review and approve: 
  • L3 developments (Versions, Enquiries, OFS, APIs)
  • Local routines and custom programs
  • Batch jobs and COB routines
  • Strong hands-on experience in: 
  • InfoBasic development
  • TAFJ / TAFC architecture
  • OFS messaging and integration frameworks
  • Oversee interface integrations: 
  • ATM systems
  • Digital channels
  • External regulatory systems
  • Payment gateways
  • Conduct code quality reviews and performance tuning
  • Ensure upgrade compatibility and release readiness 

Interface & Integration Governance 

  • Review interface design documents
  • Validate: 
  • API usage
  • OFS structures
  • Message mappings
  • Error handling mechanisms
  • Ensure integration security and data integrity
  • Monitor reconciliation processes between Transact and external systems 

Risk, Compliance & Performance Oversight 

  • Ensure regulatory reporting integrity
  • Monitor COB performance and batch processing
  • Identify system bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
  • Provide impact analysis for change requests 

Required Technical Skills 

  • Strong expertise in: 
  • Temenos Transact architecture
  • InfoBasic & Java programming
  • TAFJ / TAFC environments
  • Version & Enquiry development
  • OFS / API integrations and Process Workflows
  • Experience in: 
  • Oracle / SQL databases
  • UNIX/Linux environments
  • Performance tuning
  • Code review and quality standards
  • Exposure to cloud-hosted environments (AWS preferred) 

Functional Knowledge Required 

Strong domain expertise in: 

  • AA Loans
  • Payments
