Guidewire Senior Support Engineer (L3)
Gdańsk

As a Guidewire Senior Support Engineer at Aspire Systems Poland you will learn and master Guidewire's Suite of products to perform Cloud-hosted production system restoration, spending your first two months in training to become a certified expert.

Responsibilities:

  • troubleshoot Guidewire Cloud production solution defects and provide solutions to effectively restore system functionality,
  • play a lead role in the continued improvement of the team’s operational processes,
  • provide general technical leadership to the other developer team members,
  • partner with Guidewire delivery teams to understand each customer’s business objectives and integration requirements,
  • document and build procedures to enable our L2 Rapid Response team to independently handle common support tasks and issues,
  • develop internal tooling using GOSU, JAVA, and XML (and other technologies),
  • contribute to technical assessments of incoming Guidewire Cloud-hosted solutions, ensuring that pre-production customer solutions meet our security and performance criteria and adhere to our coding standards,
  • contribute to a team environment (local and remote),
  • commitment to customer SLA’s.

Requirements:

  • bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent,
  • over 5 years of experience working in a technical development environment or capacity, with an introductory level of leadership experience in terms of design ownership or technical guidance or mentorship,
  • advanced exposure to broad technical skills such as Object Oriented programming (JAVA, C#, or similar), relational databases (data modelling/SQL), web UI (design and development), XML, application architecture,
  • ability to prioritize work effort based on a dynamic work environment,
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills,
  • demonstrated problem-solving skills,
  • ability to work independently and within a team.

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • software development lifecycle exposure (AGILE) preferred,
  • experience with a commercial customer incident tracking or CRM system,
  • experience using a software defect tracking system such as JIRA,
  • experience working with leading cloud platform Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) providers such as AWS or Microsoft Azure,
  • basic understanding of data-warehousing (DW) and BI Design best practices and techniques,

Sales Specialist

As a Sales Specialist at Aspire Systems Poland, you will build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients on the European market. The focus of the role is to proactively search for, identify, and reach out to new clients. You will also build customer relationships and identify business opportunities.

Your tasks include:

  • The role is an office-based position working mainly over the telephone
  • Building own sales pipeline through demand generation & targeted campaigns to Enterprise IT services
  • Building business by identifying the prospects and maintaining relationships with clients
  • Complete ownership of the End to End Sales cycle
  • Coordinating involvement of company resources, including delivery, support functions, and management team to meet sales performance objectives and customer expectations
  • Presenting the complete service offerings to leads and customers
  • Proactively assessing, clarifying, and validating customer needs on an ongoing basis

Experience and skills you need to have:

  • Min. 3-5 years of relevant experience with the IT industry, especially regarding IT services
  • A proven track record of success for growing sales, expanding territories and building customer relationships in the software services industry

L2 Application Support

As a L2 Application Support, you’ll join the Aspire Systems Team, based in Olivia Centre in Gdańsk and contribute to a team environment that will have both local and remote leadership. Experience and skills you need to have:

Your tasks include:

  • Ability to work in rotational shifts
  • Gain proficiency in InsuranceSuite software and relevant diagnostic tools. Future responsibilities may include gaining knowledge of Guidewire’s other offerings to support multiple base products
  • A large aspect of the position involve commitment to customer SLA’s. While the Response Analyst will work during normal business hours, high priority work outside of established business hours may be necessary (i.e., to help with urgent customer issues). We are open to flexible work shifts outside of a standard 9AM-6PM working hours
  • Documenting and maintaining all steps and processes for common support tasks and deployments
  • Executing runbook procedures and recipes to triage cases for disposition (ex. Customer reports system slowness, customer reports missing data files, etc.)
Oracle Financials Cloud Functional Consultant

Thanks to the recent Oracle migration and implementation success, we are extending our presence in the Central and Eastern European market. To support clients in this region, we are looking for an Oracle Financials Cloud expert who wants to build a team together with us. Within Central and Eastern Europe you will support client intakes and Oracle implementation/migration projects.

 

As an Oracle Financials Consultant, you will:

Strong Oracle Functional expertise is required with at least 2 or 3 full life cycle implementation experience in Oracle Cloud Financials, as well as strong functional knowledge of:

  • Oracle Cloud Financials applications such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payables (AP), Sub-ledger Accounting (SLA), Financial Accounting Hub (FAH), Accounts Receivables (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Fusion Tax, Treasury, Advanced Global Intercompany Systems (AGIS)
  • Chart of Accounts and Enterprise Structures design

­Requirements:

  • Ability to configure the Oracle Cloud Applications to meet business requirements and document application set-ups
  • Configuring Enterprise Structures, Ledgers, Business units and Reference Data sets
  • Ability to upload Journals and create Journal approval workflow rules
  • Ability to create reports using Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), SmartView, and Oracle BI/Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI)
  • Ability to configure the system to upload Budgets/Forecasts using Oracle Cloud ADFDi/FBDI templates
  • Configuring Sub-Ledger Accounting (SLA) rules for various sub ledgers in Oracle cloud Financials
  • Configuring Payments for Payables including creating Banks, Payment systems and Payment Process Profiles etc.
  • Experience in setting up Approval Rules/Workflows in Approvals Management Extensions (AMX) through BPM
  • Configure Cash management for bank statement reconciliations
  • Maintaining and publishing Account Hierarchies for creating Financial Reports and Allocation definitions, cross validation rules and revaluation definitions

 

Important to have

  • Good knowledge of Fusion Tax configurations (setting up Geographies, Tax Regimes, Tax Rates and Rules for Europe)
  • Good Knowledge about Data Conversion/Migrations, Inbound/Outbound interfaces and Reports
  • Solid understanding of Oracle project methodology (OUM) and testing strategies such as Conference Room Pilots (CRP) and Process Playbacks (SIT and UAT etc.)

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in executing implementation strategy, capturing business, systems requirements and analysis, prepare functional specification documents, solution designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing practical business solutions
  • Ability to work with Technical resources, and other 3rd party systems/integrators to implement the project
  • Ability to identify functionality gaps and support the solutions development
