They had the best-of-breed products installed towards managing their business processes, which included GP, Onyx, Yantra, SSE and Interworld.
THEIR NEED The customer wanted GP v8 to be upgraded to GP v10 because of the inherent advantages that it provided them. These can be summarized as follows: - Workflow functionality that leverages role-based security of GP v10
- .NET development that allows for extension of GP functionality outside of using Dexterity
OUR DEED Aspire helped the customer in upgrading from GP v8 to GP v10 and successfully handled the challenges involved. The activities carried out towards upgradation were: - Migration from class-based security of GP v8 to role-based security of GP v10
- Integration of upgraded GP v10 with the customers' best-of-breed products like Onyx, Yantra, SSE, and Interworld
- Conversion of Dexterity code to .NET code for some of the functionality
