THE CUSTOMER

A niche provider of advertising infrastructure software that empowers media companies anywhere in the world to manage their advertising and maximize revenues. They deliver flexible software solutions that simplify and automate the sales, traffic and billing of advertising for television and radio broadcasters, cable and digital display networks. Their software manages more than $11 billion of advertising revenue and is installed in more than 1100 stations and networks.


THEIR NEED

The customer had several different and aging systems which were used for Sales, Product Support and Account Management. Sales used several different contact management tools and even spreadsheets for maintaining information on leads and customers; campaign management was outsourced and the support team used a home-grown system for product support operations. This resulted in poor visibility and coordination across the board. Hence they wanted to migrate to an integrated CRM suite and chose to go with the open-source Sugar CRM.
