Their key product provides an interface to access a variety of data sources such as DB2, ADABAS, VSAM, IMS, IDMS and CICS. This product provides ODBC, JDBC and J2CA drivers to access mainframe data.
THEIR NEED Mainframe systems are an integral part of most enterprises. These systems hold valuable data and processes that have evolved with the enterprise and it is important that these assets be active participants in corporate technology infrastructure as part of an SOA strategy. These incompatible data sources often reside together in an enterprise, making it difficult, if not impossible, to achieve real-time integration of data and processes across the enterprise. The enterprise integration of mainframe resources was the challenge that needed to be addressed in this project. This was effectively done through development of drivers that aids the integration of mainframe data sources.
OUR DEED Aspire Systems developed considerable portions of the product that allows enterprise integration.
