Aspire opens state-of-the-art development center in Chennai, India

ASPIRE OPENS STATE-OF-THE-ART DEVELOPMENT CENTRE IN CHENNAI

Wilsonville, Oregon - June 12, 2000 - Aspire Systems announced today the opening of a state-of-the-art development center in Chennai, India. The center will focus on building and managing e-business platforms for customers and will offer a key pool of expertise to serve Aspire's customers worldwide.

"Our Chennai development center is a critical piece of the total solution we offer customers," says Aspire Systems CEO, Gowri Subramanian. "Our mission is to make e-business happen for our customers. While our offices worldwide work with customers to develop their web strategy, business plans, and other high level details, the development center takes these ideas and turns them into tangible web applications and manages them on an ongoing basis."

The development center, based in Royapettah, features full power backup and redundant internet connectivity to provide uninterrupted service to customers. The center will see a tripling of manpower within 9 months. Aspire will be launching an aggressive recruitment drive for this purpose.

"With worldwide revenues slated to reach $260 million in 2004, we expect to make additional investments around the world," says Gowri Subramanian. "This is just a first step in that direction
