ASPIRE CREATES NEW PARADIGM AT WORK

Chennai, February 20, 2004 - Aspire Systems, a leading outsourced product development company based in Chennai, today announced its office expansion and opening of a recreational centre in Chennai.

Aspire Systems has procured additional office space, adjacent to the present facility in Mandaveli, to house another 150 seats when fully furnished. The new facility also houses a recreational center offering a wide range of opportunities in games like shuttle, badminton, chess, and carom.

Gowri Subramanian, Chief Executive Officer, Aspire Systems commented "The development of the recreational facility represents a major investment in productivity. It is an excellent example of our work culture that emphasizes freedom with responsibility. It is not surprising that we have found a significant increase in productivity with the opening of this facility."

The rapidly growing team of ‘ACEs’ (Aspire team members as they are most commonly known) feels that the recreational center would enhance their team-building skills, which is crucial in the mission-critical projects undertaken by Aspire. The ACEs have formed a 'sports community' that conducts tournaments on a regular basis. The first tournament of its kind was aptly called “Serve up an Ace”.

Bhoovarahan Thirumalai, Co-Founder and Executive Vice-President, Aspire Systems, said, “It is imperative for the team members to unwind themselves after going through mentally taxing working hours. The idea emerged from our team members themselves who felt that recreation would significantly enable them to infuse fresh thoughts into work, thereby bolstering productivity.”
