'GalaMores' - Ethnic Week Celebrations at Aspire Systems

GalaMores offers a fine work atmosphere by becoming attuned to culture

Chennai,April 28, 2008: Aspire was smeared in ethnic colours, attire and fun from the 22nd – 25th of April, presenting a vivid picture of unity in the culture and diversity of our country. Named ‘GalaMores’, the ethnic week celebrations promised to spread the true message of ‘Unity in Diversity’ and hallmark a week for every Aspirian to pay tribute to their culture and India and so it did.

Quick Facts:

  • Aspire saw four days of ‘desi’ celebration with each day celebrating the ethnicity of each region – North India, South India, East India and West India.
  • Aspire was adorned with decorative items representing each region and added attractions like chaat wala, pani poori wala, candy man and typical road side tea shop were set within the campus at Aspire.
  • The last day of GalaMores included Aspirians dressed ethnically and the one, who depicted his / her roots the best, was crowned as Mr. Ethnic and Ms. Ethnic.
  • The evening also had a small celebration of pure masti, music by Aspire’s music band ‘Rock Darbar’ and other cultural programs.
