At Aspire Systems, our Social and Community initiatives are carried out by our CSR wing called POLESTAR.

Over the last four years, our efforts have been primarily focused on the support of the Ramamurthy Foundation, a Trust for homeless and orphan children. Contributions in monetary and non-monetary forms have been towards education, food and medical supplies for the children under the care of the Foundation. Aspirians also spend time visiting the children and entertaining them with cultural programs on special occasions.

POLESTAR aims to make a difference socially by leveraging the power of IT and our competencies in software development to bridge the ‘digital divide’ that limits career opportunities of school children in non-metro and backward areas. We hope to contribute towards widening the knowledge pool in under-developed areas, by focusing on educational activities, to help these communities grow. In turn, we hope that these nurtured communities will provide us and the country with their share of the next generation of IT talent.

Book-sharing and reading sessions have already begun with a selected number of primary schools in and around our GIC in Chennai and more than 12% of Aspirians are active volunteers and participants in such initiatives.
